Allentown City Council is cancelling tonight’s regularly scheduled meeting and committee meetings due to the inclement weather.

A confirmation hearing for the nomination of Charles Roca for police chief had been scheduled for 5 p.m. The Public Safety Committee had been scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. followed by the Public Works Committee at 6:20 p.m. and the regular council meeting to begin at 6:30 p.m.

The same meetings have been rescheduled for Wednesday, September 8 at the same slotted times.
