Residents in blocks north of Tilghman Street (in the areas of 7th to 11th and north of Tilghman to Sumner Avenue, including Cedar, Whitehall and Green streets and Lumber Street north of Tilghman) are being asked to carry their trash bags only to the corners of the main numbered streets along 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th streets for pick-up.

This change is necessary because the bigger collection vehicles are not able to pass through many of these smaller streets.

Residents in this area are also asked to hold their green and blue recycling bins until next Tuesday night’s collection on February 18.
