Repaving work will close portions of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in the city of Allentown through at least Wednesday, June 10. Work will begin at approximately 6:00 a.m. weekdays and extend into the evening.
It is all part of a milling and paving project that began on May 18.
The project stretches from American Parkway heading west on MLK to S. 10th Street.
The remaining schedule is as follows:
No paving on Friday, June 5.
On Tuesday, June 9 the final wearing course will be applied from 10th Street to Lehigh Street. MLK will be closed from 10th Street to Lehigh Street. That leg of the project may continue through Wednesday, June 10.
