Infrastructure work is prompting street and lane closures in the City of Allentown.

Infrastructure work on the site of the new Allentown School District elementary school under construction on Gordon Street between 12^th and 13^th streets will result in traffic disruptions from Monday, February 25 through Thursday, February 28.  Completion of this project has been hampered by snowfalls the weeks of February 11 and February 18.

Thirteenth Street from Gordon Street to Liberty Street will be closed on Monday, February 25 and Tuesday, February 26 from 7:00am to 5:00pm.

Lane shifts will be in effect on 12^th Street from Gordon Street to Liberty Street on Wednesday, February 27 and Thursday, February 28 from 7:00am to 5:00pm.

Auburn Street from Basin Street to S. 4^th Street will be closed from Tuesday, February 26 through Thursday, February 28 from 8:30am to 3:30pm for PPL to install a new utility pole.
