The City of Allentown Department of Parks and Recreation presents the next installment of the 2018 Movies in the Park Series with the showing of “Cars 3” on Friday, August 24 at Bucky Boyle Park located at 10 Pump Place.

“Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast cars, the legendary Lightning McQueen (Owen Wilson) finds himself pushed out of the sport he loves. Hoping to get back in the game he turns to Cruz Ramirez (Cristela Alonzo), an eager young technician who has her own plans for winning. With inspiration from the Fabulous Hudson Hornet, and a few unexpected turns, No. 95 prepares to compete on Piston Cup Racing’s biggest stage.”

The approximately 102-minute movie is rated G and will begin at dusk (approximately 8:15pm).

The Bucky Boyle Concessions Stand will be open for food sales with items including hot dogs, nachos, soft pretzels, ice cream and various drinks.
