Crews from the city of Allentown Streets Bureau will be collecting leaves into December. Residents are reminded to rake only leaves into the street, a foot from the curb, for pick up by vacuum trucks.

Church Street from Linden Street to Hamilton Street in the city of Allentown will be closed on Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 6am to 5pm.

Hamilton Street from 10th Street to 9th Street in the city of Allentown will be reduced to one lane of traffic weekdays from 7am to 3:30pm beginning Wednesday, September 16 for installation of a new water line to the PPL Building.

The PennDOTcontractor for the Tilghman Street milling and overlay project within the city of Allentown is scheduled to begin milling and paving operations on Monday, September 14, 2015.

Linden Street will be reduced to one lane of traffic from Sixth St. to Seventh St. on Wednesday, September 16, Thursday, September 17 and Friday, September 18 from 7am to 5pm daily to facilitate work at 4 City Center.

The western most lane of traffic on Seventh Street in the city of Allentown will be closed from Linden Street to Hamilton Street on Monday, August 31, 2015 and Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 7am to 5pm for a storm sewer lining project.

Chew Street from 23rd Street to 26th Street in the city of Allentown will be closed on Thursday, August 27 from 6am to 12pm for a crane to set up for work at Muhlenberg College.

The Eighth Street Bridge in the City of Allentown will be closed on Friday, August 7.

Hamilton Street from Fifth Street to Sixth Street in the City of Allentown will be reduced to one lane of traffic on Wednesday, August 5, 2015.

Eighth Street from Hamilton Street to Linden Street in the city of Allentown will be closed on Thursday, July 30, 2015 for the milling and paving of the intersection at Eighth and Linden streets.
