Due to inclement weather, street projects scheduled for this week on Sixth Street and Linden Street in the city of Allentown have been rescheduled until next week.

Sixth Street in the city of Allentown from Hamilton Street to Linden Street will be reduced to one lane of traffic from 7am to 4pm beginning Monday, February 29 for utility disconnects in the street for the new Strata II project. The contractor anticipates two days will be needed to complete this part of the project.

Linden Street from Sixth Street to Seventh Street will be reduced to one lane of traffic once the project on Sixth Street is completed. It will also be in effect from 7am to 4pm. The contractor anticipates only one day of work on Linden Street.

These time frames may be extended if any unforeseen circumstances arise while excavating.
