Mayor Tuerk would like to thank all who attended and tuned into Allentown's 2022 State of the City address. 

During his speech, he focused on the seven issues that impact the City of Allentown: housing, public safety, cleanliness, storefront vacancies, parking, health and the school district.

He pledged to be honest with the City's residents, businesses, and stakeholders about where we stand and where we plan to be. At the moment, the city is improving its finances, but there is a need to address its long-term financial sustainability.

The City will also continue to invest in businesses and programs that make Allentown a great place to live, work and play.

El alcalde Tuerk le extiende la gracias a todos los que estuvieron presente o sintonizaron el discurso del Estado de la Ciudad 2022 de Allentown. 

Durante su discurso, se enfocó en siete temas que impactan a la Ciudad de Allentown: vivienda, seguridad pública, limpieza, espacios libres en las tiendas, estacionamiento, salud y el distrito escolar.

Prometió ser honesto con los residentes, las empresas y las partes interesadas de la Ciudad acerca de dónde estamos y dónde planeamos estar. Por el momento, la Ciudad está mejorando sus finanzas, pero es necesario abordar su sostenibilidad financiera a largo plazo.

La Ciudad también continuará invirtiendo en negocios y programas que hacen de Allentown un excelente lugar para vivir, trabajar y divertirse.
