Due to the anticipated December 16 snowstorm, the City of Allentown is cancelling trash collection Wednesday night, December 16.
This affects Center City residents from Front Street to 11th Street, from Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive north to the city limits and parts of the East Side.
The next trash collection, as well as the regularly scheduled recycling collection, for this area will be Sunday night, December 20. Ten bags of trash will be allowed.
