Infrastructure projects in the city of Allentown this month will result in some traffic delays and restrictions affecting the Hamilton Street Bridge and some downtown streets.

The Hamilton Street Bridge will have lane restrictions in both directions on Friday, May 17 from 9:00AM to 3:00PM for Lehigh County to re-weld clearance signs on the bridge.

Lane restrictions will remain in effect on 8th Street from Walnut Street to Hamilton Street and for Walnut Street from 8th Street to Seventh Street from 8:00AM to 5:00PM through the month for work at Five City Center and SVN Square West.

Court Street will be closed from Penn Street to 5th Street on Saturday, May 11 from 6:00AM to 5:00PM for a crane to set up and lift an AC unit onto the roof top of the Lehigh County Courthouse. There will not be any access to the underground parking garage at the courthouse.

Law Street will be closed from Court Street to Linden Street on Wednesday, May 15 from 9:00AM to 1:00PM for an event at Symphony Hall. The Strata parking garage will be accessible from Linden Street.
