The City of Allentown is providing $725,000 of U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funds to assist Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley to develop eight single-family attached twin homes on a 1.07 acre lot at 640 Tacoma Street.

The City has performed an Environmental Assessment following HUD environmental regulations and made a finding of no significant impact to the environment. The Environmental Assessment can be reviewed or copied weekdays, 8:00am to 4:30pm at the Bureau of Planning and Zoning, 4th floor, City Hall, 435 Hamilton Street, Allentown, PA 18101.

The project is expected to begin this spring.
