Allentown Vision 2030 Community Survey Launches

Allentown Vision 2030 – the City’s new Comprehensive and Economic Development Plan – is launching a Community Survey to gain important feedback from Allentown residents, workers, business owners/operators and others interested in participating in the Allentown Vision 2030 process.

The Allentown Vision 2030 Community Survey is available in English and Spanish at www.AllentownVision2030.org and paper copies in English and Spanish will be available at Allentown Public Library, Allentown City Hall, and Alliance Hall. Allentown Vision 2030 will be working alongside our community partners to distribute the survey both digitally and in paper format. The Allentown Vision 2030 Community Survey is open now through Monday, December 17, 2018. Survey participants will be entered to win one of 10 passes to the 2018 Lights in the Parkway, ten daily admission passes to city pools, two resident city pool passes valid for four individuals, each a $200 value, and four passes to Allentown Municipal Golf Course!

The Allentown Vision 2030 Community Survey addresses a range of topics relevant to the new Comprehensive and Economic Development Plan including future development, employment and workforce opportunities, transportation, parks/open space and housing.

Allentown Vision 2030 – Your City, Your Voice! is the city’s new Comprehensive and Economic Development Plan that will chart a path for inclusive, equitable growth over the next ten years. The plan will address the topics of housing, workforce development, economic opportunity, social equity, environment and conservation, community development, transportation, land use, historic preservation, open space, and a range of other concerns that affect the quality of life and vibrancy of the City of Allentown.

The Allentown Vision 2030 Community Survey is one of the many ways to engage. The community can learn more and collaborate with the city in a number of ways – via AllentownVision2030.org, Allentown Vision 2030 - Your City, Your Voice! Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube pages, by attending one of the Allentown Vision 2030 community collaboration meetings, and other planned opportunities to share priorities, recommendations, and feedback throughout the development of the update.
