Event Description

The 4^tn Annual event is being rebranded as Fishing  and Fun in the Park and focuses on providing a day of inclusive, accessible outdoor fun for all ages and abilities including fishing, casting instruction by the Mid Atlantic Young Anglers Association and, fillet station by the Lehigh County Fish and Game Protective Association, animal demonstrations by the Lehigh Valley Zoo, yard games and sports by Friends of the Allentown Parks, a nature walk lead by the Wildlands Conservancy, K-9 demonstration by the Allentown Police Department, Shooting Sports by Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays and Archery for Everyone and kayaking lessons provided by Lehigh Valley River Runners. Additional information booths and presentations will be presented by Blue Mount Ski Area, Community Bike Works, America on Wheels, the DaVinci Science Center, and the Allentown Public Library. Refreshments from The Perk Up Truck and Angelo’s Concessions will be available for purchase on site at the event.
