ZONING HEARING BOARD
NOTICE is hereby given that the Zoning Hearing Board will meet in the Fifth Floor Conference Room, Room #516, City Hall, 435 Hamilton Street, Allentown, PA on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of hearing the following appeals.
ALL APPELLANTS MUST APPEAR AT MEETING
1. A-64388 141 East Emaus Avenue Appeal of Neal Berkowitz for variance to erect FREESTANDING GROUND SIGN (3.5′ x 4.92′), interior illum., at front, for existing Medical Offices, with sign being prohibited, and having insuff. front yard setback (10′ min. req.; 1′ proposed), located in a Medium Low Density Residential (R-ML) District.
2. A-64389 824-830 Hamilton Street Appeal of EPC-Allentown LLC to DEMOLISH BUILDING to erect addition to adjacent building at 832-844 Hamilton St., & restripe parking lot at rear, with building demolition being permitted by Special Exception under Article 1314.03.D., and parking lot having insuff. aisle width (24′ req.; 23′ proposed), located in a Central Business (B-2), Hamilton Street Overlay (HSO), Traditional Neighborhood Development Overlay (TNDO) & Historic Building Demolition Overlay (HBDO) District.
All persons interested or those desiring to protest against the allowance of the above appeals may appear and be heard. The appeals listed above may be reviewed at the Zoning Office, 4th Floor, City Hall, 435 Hamilton Street, Allentown, Pennsylvania.
