Special events can generate a significant amount of waste and recyclable materials within a short time. The Bureau of Recycling & Solid Waste offers the use of trash and recycling ClearStream containers to community groups, non-profit organizations, businesses, and citizens to collect recyclables and trash that is generated at events held within the Allentown city limits.

Before approval of a special event, there must be a Trash & Recycling Plan for vendors, participants, attendees, and spectators.  Please contact the Bureau of Recycling & Solid Waste after your Special Events Application has been submitted to the Dept. of Parks & Recreation.
