Nominated - Best Foreign Language Film, Best Achievement in Cinematography - 2010 Academy Awards Winner - Golden Palm - 2009 Sundance Film Festival

In a village in Protestant northern Germany, on the eve of World War I, the children of a church and school run by the village schoolteacher and their families experience a series of bizarre incidents that inexplicably assume the characteristics of a punishment ritual. Who could be responsible for such bizarre transgressions? Leonie Benesch, Josef Bierbichler, and Rainer Bock star in director Michael Haneke's Palm d'Or-winning period drama.

Albert C. Barnes was a man who worked his way from working-class to multimillionaire. As his fortune grew, Barnes developed a taste for art and in time assembled one of the world's most remarkable private collections. In 1922 he opened the Barnes Foundation, a private gallery where he kept his collection rather than share it with museums. When he died in 1951, Barnes left strict instructions to protect his art from ever leaving the Barnes Foundation property. The Art of the Steal is a documentary that explores how greed, political power, and good intentions colluded to violate Albert C. Barnes' wishes and scatter his collection across the globe.
