Starring Civic Theatre School Alum Amanda Seyfried!
Civic Theatre of Allentown

Catherine and David seem like the perfect couple. But when David misses a flight and his surprise birthday party, Catherine grows suspicious. She hires an escort, Chloe (played by Civic Theatre School alum Seyfried), to test David’s fidelity. She absorbs the explicit details of Chloe’s encounters with David, further igniting her jealousy but also awakening long dormant sensations. Soon Catherine finds herself on a journey that places her family in great danger- is it too late to stop Chloe? Also with Liam Neeson.

Nominated - Best Foreign Language Film, Best Achievement in Cinematography - 2010 Academy Awards Winner - Golden Palm - 2009 Sundance Film Festival

In a village in Protestant northern Germany, on the eve of World War I, the children of a church and school run by the village schoolteacher and their families experience a series of bizarre incidents that inexplicably assume the characteristics of a punishment ritual. Who could be responsible for such bizarre transgressions? Leonie Benesch, Josef Bierbichler, and Rainer Bock star in director Michael Haneke's Palm d'Or-winning period drama.
