The 2016 City of Allentown Department of Parks & Recreation Lively Lunches in the Park season will draw to a close on Saturday, September 24 with a special three band performance at West Park beginning at 4:30pm.

Kendal Conrad will be performing from 4:30pm-5:00pm followed by Tim Harakal from 5:00pm-5:30pm. The Billy Bauer Band will wrap-up the entertainment from 5:30pm-6:30pm.

The City of Allentown’s Lively Lunches in the Park is a lunchtime music program held in the Allentown Arts Park every Tuesday from May to September. Food trucks joined the party this year for those who chose not to bring their own.

Kendal Conrad is an American country music singer-songwriter and actress who performed a duet with Keith Urban and was featured on MTV. She performed a private gig singing for best-selling author Nicholas Sparks, and had the lead role as Holly Golightly in the exclusive post-Broadway production of Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

Tim Harakal is a singer/songwriter who plays the guitar acoustically with a pop-rock edge. He was recently awarded the titles of “Best Singer/Song Writer” and “Best Lyricist” at the Lehigh Valley Music Awards (LVMA) and has been featured numerous times in local print, television, and radio.

The Billy Bauer Band has played some of the most prestigious music festivals & venues in the country. Their sound is craftily woven with electric violin and folky grooves.

Founded by Billy Bauer (vocals, guitar) and Chris Lorenzetti (electric violin, piano) in 2006, the Billy Bauer Band began as an acoustic duo, and evolved to incorporate the solid rhythm section of Drew Somers (percussion) and Steve Zalalas (bass).
