The city of Allentown’s 2016 Summer Concert Series has rescheduled five concerts so far this season due to inclement weather.

Rescheduled concerts will be made up on the following dates:

American Legion Band: rescheduled from May 14 to Tuesday, July 19 at 7:30pm at West Park

Pioneer Band – Satellite Concert: rescheduled from June 11 to Friday, July 22 at 7:30pm at The Lakes Apartment Complex

Allentown Band: rescheduled from May 21 to Friday, August 12 at 7:30pm at West Park

Allentown Band: rescheduled from June 5 to Tuesday, August 23 at 7:30pm at West Park

Allentown Municipal Band: rescheduled from May 15 to Saturday, September 17 at 7:30pm at West Park

There are also some corrections to the 2016 Summer Concert Series Schedule as follows:

Municipal Band is performing on Monday, July 4 on Linden St. (originally scheduled at West Park) at 6:30pm at 4th of July – Street Festival on Linden Street.

Jersey Girls and Back Alley Boys concert originally scheduled on Friday, July 8 at 8:00pm at West Park, has been cancelled.

Sweet Adelines presents “Harmony in the Park” on Wednesday, July 13 at 7:00pm at West Park has been added.

American Legion Band concert on Friday, August 5 at 7:30pm at West Park was originally listed as the Marine Band performing.

The city of Allentown’s Summer Concert Series offers more than 50 concerts each year from May to September. Many of the concerts are held at the historic West Park, as well as at satellite locations throughout the city.
