Allentown Health Bureau nurses will deliver flu shots to city of Allentown residents who are homebound and cannot travel to their physician offices. Residents must call the Health Bureau to schedule an appointment at 610-437-7760.

“The Allentown Health Bureau is very pleased to be able to offer this service,” said Health Bureau Director Vicky Kistler. “Some of the most vulnerable members of the population are going without this protection. Hopefully, this program will keep some residents from getting seriously ill or worse.”

Only those individuals without the ability to visit their healthcare provider will be offered this service and only as supplies permit.
