The City of Allentown’s 2015 Summer Concert Series has rescheduled two concerts that had been postponed due to inclement weather.

Rescheduled concerts will be made up the following dates at West Park:

Municipal Band (from June 12) to Saturday, August 29 at 7:30pm at West Park and the Bethlehem Legion Band (from June 30) to Saturday, August 22 at 7:30pm at West Park.

One additional concert has been added to the 2015 concert lineup: on Friday, July 24 (rain date September 12), the Jersey Girls & Back Alley Boyz will be performing at West Park at 7:30pm. This 50’s & 60’s rock and roll oldies band offers unique vocal blends, tight harmonies and smooth moves in an entertainment experience of an era gone-by but not forgotten.

The City of Allentown’s Summer Concert Series is a terrific program with more than 50 concerts held in Allentown each year from May to September. Many of the concerts are held at the historic West Park with great attendance from the Allentown community.

The 2015 Summer Concert Series is sponsored by West Park Civic Association, The Morning Call, Local 45 American Federation of Musicians, Recording Industry’s Music Performance Trust Fund, and Friends of the Allentown Parks.
