Make Your Mark, Allentown!

To celebrate opening day of A Collecting Spirit: Gifts of Paul Kania, the Museum is throwing a Make Your Mark, Allentown! party in the galleries and outside on Fifth Street, with family friendly activities and art-making for all ages. All activities are free.

To volunteer to be a part of the Saturday or Sunday Make York Mark activities, contact Ananda at aholton@allentownartmuseum.org.

UPSTAIRS in Art Ways Interactive Family Gallery & Crayola Classroom
    Scratch the Surface—
Create an image using colored scratch paper.
    Textured Impressions—Create abstract, textured art.
    Wild Watercolors—
Experiment with Yupo paper and watercolors.

Print Station—Staff from Lafayette College’s Experimental Printmaking Institute will pull prints that you can add your own mark to.
                     

Nature Station—Use found objects to create unique marks.
Stamp Station—Use stamps to add patterns to your print.
Free Expression Station—Add final touchesto your masterpiece!

Raffle:  1 p.m. till 3 p.m.
Pick up a raffle ticket at the Free Expression Station outside on Fifth Street and bring it into the Museum, to Art Ways, to be entered for a prize!
