Seniors to Relive Big Band Era- ‘Remember When’ Dance in Allentown

The Lehigh Valley Aging Place Coalition will be sponsoring a ‘Remember When’ themed dance on Thursday, October 8th, 2015 from 1pm– 4pm at The Fearless Fire Company, 1221 S. Front Street in Allentown, PA 18103. Admission is free to all seniors, live music provided by The Bill Arnold Band for dancing and listening pleasure. Doors open at 12:30pm.

The annual dance is free to all seniors and serves as a salute to our military troops both current and past.  Attendees are encouraged to wear patriotic and military attire reminiscent of the support shown during the USO era.  Active Marines and reservists will also be in attendance to celebrate and support this event.

“This is a terrific way to spent a fall afternoon”, says RJ Whitelock, LVAIP President.   “It’s supportive of our military and supportive of our vision of keeping seniors active and engaged.”
