Public health emergency management  to prepare for, respond to, and recover from public health threats and emergencies in the City of Allentown.

• Allentown Volunteer Medical Reserve Corps (AVMRC)

• Prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies
• Personal, family and worksite preparedness
• Education, outreach and training
• Disease surveillance and epidemiological investigations
• Develop and test emergency plans based on local hazards and threats
• Coordinate plans with local, state and federal partners
• Risk communication and health Information dissemination
