There are no classes scheduled at the current time.
This is a free class open to the first 25 applicants. There is no physical fitness portion other than some handgun shooting on the range.
Goal: To educate the citizens on the day to day operations of a law enforcement officer and various bureaus of the police department, give them a better understanding of the risks associated with police work, and enhance the relationship between the police and the community.
Objectives: The participants will get information on Laws of Arrest, Search and Seizure Laws, Patrol procedures, Vice investigations, Gangs, Use of Force scenarios, Firearms (live fire on range), and various other segments of police academy training.
Benefits: Will assist in developing their own vision for the upcoming changes involving the police department.
