The finance department oversees long range strategic financial planning and provides city departments and the public with timely and accurate financial information, while assuring clarity and accountability.

Requests for Tax Certifications may be directed to the following:

Please include the following with your request:

  • Property location
  • Self-addressed stamped envelope
  • Service fee of $20

Payment of Tax Bills

Payments are accepted at the following locations:

  • City Hall – Room 110, during normal business hours
  • Yellow drop box, located outside of City Hall ; (checks only, please)
  • Wachovia Bank Branches

The City of Allentown offers credit card payments through “Official Payments Corporation”.
