National Bell Ringing Ceremony with Pip the Mouse
Saturday, July 4; 12:30, Birthday Party; 1:30 p.m. Ceremony.
Join us for our annual Independence Day celebration at the Museum. At 12:30, the museum will host "America's Birthday Party," which will be a party for children of all ages and will feature, games, peanut and butter and jelly sandwiches, ice cream and America's Birthday Cake. At 1:30, the "Let Freedom Ring" ceremony will begin, as the Museum participates in the national bell ringing ceremony. At 2:00 e.d.t., bells around the United States will be rung to celebrate the 233rd Anniversary of American Independence. There will be a short program featuring Major Nathan Kline, USAF - Retired as our speaker, which will precede the bell ringing ceremony, in which Pip the Mouse will ring the bell thirteen times |
