Allentown Neighborhood Summit

About the Summit

This FREE event will be held on October 20th from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Sacred Heart Hospital Conference Center, 2nd floor, 421 Chew Street, Allentown, Pa. Check-in and complimentary continental breakfast are from 9:15 am to 9:55 am. Parking is free in the Sacred Heart Parking lots.

The opening session from 10:00 am to 10:55 am includes a welcome byMayor Pawlowski followed by facilitator Neal Schroder of Bricks for Kidz. Mr. Schroder will lead us in a fun communication activity utilizing LEGO’s. Workshops with lunch included run from 11:00am to 2:00 pm. Topics for adults include How to Effectively Communicate with Adolescents, How to be Prepared in an Emergency, and Housing and the Empowered Resident. The workshop for teenagers will cover Dating Violence, Sexual Harassment, Sexting and Cyber-bullying.
